What is the Blazers – Game On! Campaign?
The Blazers – Game On! Campaign is a major fundraising effort to complete the original vision for Fr. Tolton Catholic High School’s campus. It will fund the construction of a new Outdoor Athletics and Activities Complex, creating high-quality spaces for students to learn, compete, gather, and grow together as a community.

What is the campaign goal?
The campaign seeks to raise a minimum of $8 million to fund construction of the Outdoor Athletics and Activities Complex and to start a maintenance endowment. This estimate is based on construction costs projected as of Fall 2025 and may be adjusted as timelines and market conditions evolve. All funds raised will be used solely for this project.

How will the project be funded?
The campaign will be funded 100% through philanthropy made possible by the generosity of families, alumni, and friends who believe in Tolton’s mission. No tuition dollars will be used, and no Diocesan funds will be used. We are committed to being good stewards of both donor generosity and family resources.

Why now?
A complete outdoor athletics and activities space has always been part of the plan for our campus. Over the years, other priorities came first, but this effort has remained an essential piece of the school’s long-term vision. Planning and fundraising have been underway for some time with the help of early leadership donors. These leadership gifts have brought us close to half of our $8 million goal, allowing us to move forward publicly and take the next step toward breaking ground.

What is the timeline for completion?
In collaboration with the Diocese of Jefferson City, we are moving forward with purpose and urgency so students and families can experience the impact as soon as possible. Groundbreaking will take place the spring after reaching our goal. Our goal is to complete construction with minimal disruption to student life and athletic schedules.

How much has been raised so far?
Thanks to early leadership gifts and the generosity of a few new donors, we are nearly halfway to our $8 million goal. Continued progress toward full funding will determine the timing of construction.

How will this benefit my student?
The new Outdoor Athletics and Activities Complex is being built for your student. It will serve over two-thirds of Tolton’s student-athletes, providing consistent, high-quality spaces to train and compete on campus. It will also create additional space for classes, House events, and all-school gatherings.

What new opportunities will the complex create?
Imagine your student playing on a true home field surrounded by classmates, families, and friends. The new complex will allow Tolton to secure more home games and host youth camps and neutral-site competitions, bringing our community together and creating more moments for students to shine. It will also open doors for hands-on learning, giving students the chance to broadcast home baseball and softball games and gain experience in media and communication. These opportunities strengthen school pride, deepen learning, and build connections that reach beyond the field.

How will this impact the school’s athletics and activities budget?
Completing this project will greatly reduce annual expenses by eliminating the need to rent off-campus facilities and covering the transportation costs of traveling to “home” events. Hosting practices, games, and performances on campus will make better use of resources while strengthening student and family connection to school life on campus.

Can I donate materials or services for the project?
We are grateful for the generous spirit of those who wish to support the Blazers – Game On! Campaign through gifts of labor or materials. In-kind donations may be accepted in cases where companies can contribute professional services, skilled labor, or construction materials that meet the project’s specifications and safety standards. If you or someone you know may be interested in exploring this opportunity, please contact us to discuss potential partnerships.

Can volunteers help reduce construction costs?
We deeply appreciate the many ways parents, grandparents, and friends of Tolton give their time and energy to the school. However, this project requires licensed professionals and contractors to meet construction and safety requirements, so volunteer labor is not an option for this phase of work. That said, if a company or skilled trade partner is interested in donating labor or services as part of our project team, we would welcome that conversation. Please reach out to our Advancement Office to discuss how such a partnership might take shape.

How can I help?
The most important way to support the Blazers – Game On! Campaign is through a personal financial gift. Every contribution—no matter the size—moves us closer to breaking ground. When families and friends give what fits their budget, those gifts add up to something extraordinary. We are asking donors to consider meaningful gifts or short-term pledges that can be fulfilled during construction. Early significant commitments lead the way and build the momentum needed to begin. If you would like to discuss a major gift or naming opportunity, please contact Jeremy Diener, Executive Director of Development and Principal Gifts.

Are there other ways to get involved?
After making your financial gift, you can continue to make an impact by praying for the success of the campaign and serving as an ambassador for the project. Share the story of your student and your community on social media or in-person with friends and family. Tell them how this new complex will enhance the student experience, create new opportunities, and strengthen our school family. When you tell others why this matters to you, you help them see the difference it can make for every Blazer. Your story and encouragement inspire others to join you in giving, helping bring this vision to life for all.

How does this project align with Tolton’s mission?
At Fr. Tolton Catholic High School, our mission is to form students in Spirit, Heart, Mind, and Body. The Blazers – Game On! Campaign strengthens each of these pillars in a tangible way.
Spirit: Students will grow in faith by competing and learning in an environment that reflects our Catholic values—where teamwork, integrity, and gratitude are at the center of every victory and challenge.
Heart: The new complex will bring home competition to our campus, giving families, classmates, and the community a place to gather in support and school pride.
Mind: Enhanced facilities will better support the student-athlete experience, allowing more balance between academics and activities and opening doors for hands-on learning in areas like media and broadcasting.
Body: Improved, well-maintained fields and spaces will promote the health, performance, and confidence of every Blazer who trains and competes here.
Together, these pillars reflect the heart of our mission to help each student become the person God created them to be.
